Rejuran®
Rejuran® is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that harnesses the power of polynucleotides to promote cellular repair and regeneration. Rejuran® utilizes polynucleotides (PN) which are DNA building blocks derived from wild salmon to stimulate collagen production and revitalize the skin’s natural repair processes. Rejuran® is unique in that it does not contain hyaluronic acid. This innovative procedure involves injecting Rejuran® into the skin to enhance elasticity and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Ideal for all skin types, it offers a non-invasive solution for achieving naturally refreshed looking skin with minimal downtime. Excellent in combination with other collagen stimulating procedures such as laser/light treatments, skin needling and skin resurfacing.
Rejuran® comes in three different formulations depending on your specific needs.
Rejuran® Classic –designed for overall skin rejuvenation which targets fine lines and wrinkles, and promotes cellular repair and collagen production to achieve youthful, natural and healthy looking skin. It can be used to treat full face, neck, decolletage and hands. A course of 3 sessions is recommended with 2mls each treatment, 2 to 4 weeks apart.
Rejuran®-i– focuses on revitalizing the delicate eye area, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, eye bags and dark circles. A course of 3 treatments is recommended with 1ml each treatment, 2 to 4 weeks apart.
Rejuran®–s is specifically designed to target and improve the appearance of scars. It aims to promote skin healing, reduce scarring and improve the texture of scarred areas. A course of 3 sessions is recommended with 1ml each treatment, 2 to 4 weeks apart.
Profhilo®
Profhilo®
Profhilo® and Profhilo® Body are cutting-edge skin treatments designed to enhance hydration and restore youthful elasticity. Profhilo® is renowned for its ability to rejuvenate the face by delivering a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, which deeply hydrates and stimulates collagen and elastin production. This treatment effectively smooths fine lines and improves skin texture and hydration with minimal downtime. Profhilo® Body extends these benefits to larger areas of the body, such as the arms, abdomen, and thighs, addressing skin laxity and dryness. Both treatments offer a non-invasive solution for achieving plump, glowing, and revitalized skin.
Profhilo® – Structura
Structura is the only product available that targets the aging fat pads that support the youthful contour of the face. Structura is a Hyaluronic Acid product but unlike traditional dermal fillers, it designed to give a subtle, natural looking lift without widening the face. Structura works by enhancing collagen, elastin and restoring superficial fat pads. 2 treatments are required 30 days apart and can be repeated every 6-12 months if needed.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- Avoid any heat-inducing activities for 24 hours.
- Do not perform strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid pressure on the area for 48 hours (i.e. avoid face-down massages).
- Do not massage the treatment area unless instructed to do so.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
- Avoid active cosmeceutical products (AHAs, retinol, vitamin C) for 24 hours.
- Do not apply oil-based makeup for 24 hours. Mineral based makeup can be applied with a clean and light application technique.
What to expect
The listed below are all normal side effects and should self resolve within a few days.
- Swelling/lumps (Expected time prior to bumps subsiding can be 3-5 days)
- Bruising
- Redness
- Tenderness
More severe complications may include:
- Pain out of proportion to the expected post treatment discomfort
- Infection
- Severe swelling
- Possible allergic reaction
- Blanching or whitening of the skin
- Visual disturbances
Other extremely rare complications could occur and no list can include all possible side effects or complications.
If you experience any of the above severe complications please contact Dermal Glow during normal business hours. If symptoms are severe or it is outside of usual office hours, please contact your GP or go to the Emergency Department.

REJURAN® is a dermal tissue reconstructive material, animal-derived. REJURAN® is an injectable gel which is intended for injection into the mid to deep dermis to promote tissue restoration and reconstruction, and improvement of physical appearance. Administered by injecting the gel into the dermis using a thin gauge needle. The polynucleotide is hydrating to cause volumetric increases of tissues and make more favourable physiological conditions for the growth of cells in the skin. REJURAN® treatment is not funded on the New Zealand Pharmaceutical Schedule. You will need to pay for this medicine. Normal Doctors visit fees apply. Profhilo ®, containing low & high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, is a Class III medical device for the treatment of the face and body for contours redefinition and laxity remodelling where skin laxity is a problem. Profhilo has risks and benefits. Do not use with treatments such a laser resurfacing or medium deep skin-peeling. Do not inject into inflamed areas or intravenously or intramuscularly. PROFHILO® STRUCTURA is a class 3 medical device and must be injected by a medical practitioner or a qualified nurse injector (operating under the supervision of a medical practitioner). PROFHILO® STRUCTURA [4.5% – 22.5 mg (H-HA) + 22.5 mg (L-HA)/1 ml Hyaluronic acid sodium salt and 4.5% – 45 mg (H-HA) + 45 mg (L-HA)/2 ml Hyaluronic acid sodium salt], injection gel in a single use sterile prefilled syringe. It is indicated for adults of both sexes for corrective / filling action of natural or induced skin depressions. PROFHILO® STRUCTURA has risks and benefits. Ask your healthcare professional if PROFHILO® STRUCTURA is right for you and to explain the possible side effects.
WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS: Do not use PROFHILO® STRUCTURA in case of known hypersensitivity or allergies to the components of the product. Do not use it in pregnant or breast-feeding women, in patients with autoimmune diseases. Do not inject intravascularly, into the muscles or tendons, or for breast enlargement.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: PROFHILO® STRUCTURA must not be used in conjunction with treatments such as laser resurfacing and medium-deep peeling. Tell your doctor if any side effects concern you.
